CODES OF CONDUCT
To enable
all participants of Minis/Youth Rugby to benefit from the enjoyment
of the game, Shotton Steel RFC maintain a strict Code of Conduct as
defined by the WRU and also set out to provide and demonstrate good
practice within the game. The guidance and instructions provided apply
to all participants whether they be Players, Parents and Coaches.

Bulling
Under no
circumstances will bulling of any form be tolerated. Anyone identified
to be bullying or encouraging this sort of behaviour will be asked to
leave the club. Please raise any issues or complaints of bulling with
club at the earliest opportunity.
Player
Responsibilities
- To play
within the rules of the game
- To be
sportman like at all times
- To respect
the referee's decision
- To value
and appreciate the coaches and volunteers (they have given up there
time for you)
- To be
punctual to both training and matches
- To respect
all other players irrespective of ability

guidelines from the WRU in 2006/07 additional proceedures for disiplinarary
actions have been issued in relation to sportsmanship and the conduct

Coaches
Responsibilites
- To insure
the guidelines provided by the WRU are followed
- To help
develop an interest and love in rugby in all players
- To develop
each players to their maximum potential
- To insure
each coaching session has been well prepared
- To maintain
personal discipline and courtesy to the players, officials and opposing
irrespective
Parents
Responsibilities
- Parents
are asked to be punctual to allow prompt start to training sessions
and matches.
- To encourage
your child to follow the Rules of the game
- To set
an example to others
- To
applaud good play by players including that from opposition teams
- To
encourage and not ridicule players irrespective of their ability
- Support
all efforts to remove verbal and physical abuse
- Not
to question the referee's decisions
- To recognise
and appreciate the commitment from the volunteers and coaches.
- To teach
your child the importance of effort and teamwork
- To not
force a unwilling child to participate in rugby
