DEVELOPMENT Shotton Steel Rugby Club is committed to developing rugby in the community and through minis rugby provides a safe and fun environment for aspiring rugby players to learn about the game. With WRU qualified coaches, rugby is introduced gradually to younger players with aspects of the senior game adapted to ensure maximum enjoyment, skills development in the safest possible way. Through Mini Rugby, players develop friendships for life and gain an appreciation for the importance of physical activity and at Shotton Steel RFC we encouraging all our players to play sporting rugby and do not support or encourage a "win at all costs" attitude in our players (just look at the seniors). TRAINING Training for the mini's is held at Corus Sports & Social Club every Sunday 10am 12 noon. Training is open to all ages from 7-17, and children of all ability levels are welcome to attend GET INVOLVED Parents need not feel left out and all are more than welcome to help out and volunteer or meet other like minded rugby parents.
