***Important Notice***

Player Registration forms must be completed and in by Sun 9th Sep for players to play in games. It is also important that all players attend training especially before games. If you do not train you may not be able to play in the game & we may have to forfeit the game as a club!

Future Events

16/09/07 - Rip Tag Course

For any helpers or new coaches a Rip Tag Course has been arranged for Sunday 16th September at 15:30 at the club. Any interested should contact a Committee Member for further information.

27/09/07 - Tournament at Rowley's Drive

A School's Rugby Tournament is to be hosted by Shotton Steel on Thursday 27th September for Years 5 and 6. If you are able to assist on the day and help promote the club please contact one of the Mini/Youth Committee Members.

30/09/07 - World Cup Rugby Party

To celebrate this year's World Cup and to welcome new members to the club a party will be hosted at the club on the 30th September. This will include an hour of Games followed by food.

NEWS

New Pitch - A big thank you to all that helped clearthe waste ground to the rear of the Sports Club.A new all weather pitch is being built at the club. The minis have helped by collecting large rocks and rubble for the area before grass seed is to be sown.

Gareth Thomas Academy Photo - A number of players attended the Gareth Thomas Academy at Wrexham Rugby Club on 6th-8th August

Northop Hall Festival - The minis took part in the Northop Hall Scarecrow Festival on 16th June to raise awareness of the club in the area. A rugby challenge was then held in the local school field and fun was had by all who took part.

Additional Training U16s

Additional training has now been arranged for the U16s Team each Thursday evening at Rowleys Drive from 7pm onwards. All are welcome to attend.

Support

Are you a Parent or Club member and would like to provide some support and assistance to the Minis? If you can spare an hour or two a week, please contact one of the committee members or e-mail the club to register your interest. Rugby experience is not necessary and support could be provided in a number of ways from assisting coaching staff with training and matchdays, to back office work to help in the running of the club.

TRAINING

Training for the mini's is held at Corus Sports & Social Club every Sunday 10am – 12 noon and are supervised by qualified coaches. Training is open to all ages from 7-17, and children of all ability levels are welcome to attend.
